The Leatherhead Community Hub

We meet in the Leatherhead Community Hub and work closely with the team there. Jenny and the team are always keen to hear your ideas for the Community Hub.

Home Start

Home-Start Epsom, Ewell and Banstead including Mole Valley North  is a local charity which provides emotional and practical support to parents with at least one child under five years old by providing home-visiting volunteers who offer informal, friendly and confidential support also running support groups and events.

Volunteers are all parents and are trained, supported and supervised to Home-Start UK standards.

Our aim is to provide early support to families who are facing the challenges and stresses of family life, including a wide range of difficulties such as isolation, low self-esteem, physical and mental health issues.

We work alongside parents in their homes to help raise their self-confidence and their ability to cope in an increasingly pressured society. Home-Start supports parents as they grow in confidence, strengthen their relationships with their children and widen their links with the local community.

Our emphasis is on parents helping parents.

Mid Surrey Community Fridges

The Community Fridge kindly supply snacks for our toddler group and the Community Fridge area is available for all parents and carers to access during the group.

We meet on Mondays in term time only from 9.30-11am in the cafe area of Leatherhead Community Hub for children aged 0 months to 3 years old.

Joycey leads the sessions and is always available to talk to and offer support and advice.

Children will be able to play with a variety of toys and there will be some fun activities available to do with your child. It's a great way to get out of the house, meet new friends and for the children to play and make new friends too.
